I purchased the Arthur Necklace about a month ago and was initially thrilled - the design and engraving were beautiful. Unfortunately, within a week, the pendant detached during a swim in a rockpool. I was frustrated, especially since the product is marketed as water/sweat-resistant stainless steel, implying it’s suitable for swimming or exercise. Still, I gave the brand the benefit of the doubt and repurchased the same necklace, hoping the first was a one-off fault. But now, just two weeks in, the pendant has come off again - this time during a light jog… I’ve never owned jewellery that detaches so easily. I wasn’t sprinting, shirtless, or in contact with anything. It simply failed. As shown in the attached image, both crosses are now gone. That’s $250 lost from minimal wear. I’m gutted - this necklace held personal meaning, and now it’s likely trampled in sand somewhere. I rarely leave negative reviews. I genuinely love the aesthetic of Saar’s products and believe in the brand’s potential. But this experience is deeply disappointing, especially when terms like “built to last” and “reinforced lobster clasp” are used in the product description. It feels misleading. P.S.
