Stages Language Builder Blocks just “meh"

So it is a bunch of blocks, a ton of cards which are not really all that clear to the children I used them with, and the same on the app—it is just the cards displayed on a tablet. Pluses: Blocks are bright and colorful, there are a lot of card models, and nice ones making cards into real things like houses and animals. Minuses: There are not duplicates of ALL the blocks which would allow more versatility moving from an imitation to copy-from-model format, the cards don’t really show if the blocks are standing or lying down for the single blocks, and the box is big and bulky and hard to repack. I bought it on sale for half-price making it a reasonable expenditure, but I’ve made my own sets in the past and they are just as nice. Suggest: Using more interesting blocks with varied shapes and patterns to increase engagement.

Love stages blocks!

So far I have used the blocks with almost all of my clients from age 2 to 7. We love them! The variety of labels as well as sentence structures seem endless. My students are engaged and expanding their language while having fun !

Block Buster!

I love this set because this is such an important skill. It's lovely to have a set ready to go ... so useful.
