Texan Twang arrived today.. Nicely boxed and presented.
I wanted to try the Texan Twang out straight away.. Plugged guitar (stratocaster) into pedal and pedal directly into amp input.. Delay / reverb in fx loop. I set the amp controls so the sound was on the dark side... Keep the gain on the clean side the Texan Twang can add dirt to taste via the guitar volume control. I found the best sound was with the pedal level between 9 and 11 o click but experimentment with other levels, control was on MID.. But try high and low too.
With settings like this the Texan Twang will cut through the darkish tone and add great SRV Twang to your tone that will be rich yet bright.. It's impressive..
I tried many pedal combinations to avoid buying the Texan Twang. In the end I found NOTHING was going to give that sought after SRV sound and ordered a Texan Twang.. I'm glad I did.. If you're serious about tone in particular the SRV sound then this pedal is the only way to get it... I'm delighted with it. For the serious guys it's worth every penny... I sold 3 pedals I didn't use much to get most of the money together.. Best thing I've done in ages.. Love it!!!!

Texan Twang rocks
Received the Texan Twang the other day and have been putting it through it's paces. I must say, the tones and clean-up are even sweeter in person than in demos. It's really something to be experienced under the fingers rather than just hearing it outside your own playing space Very happy with it!

Classic British Rock
The Texan Twang treble booster pedal would have to be among the best if not the best treble booster that's out there today. Plugging it into your Fender style amp with your Strat guitar will definitely get you into the Stevie Ray Vaughan territory of tone. But it does more than that. Think classic British rock, specifically the legendary Tony Iommi and his treble booster sound. When I plugged it through my Laney GH100S half stack on low input with my Les Paul and just drove the gain to the edge of breakup, and kicked in the Texan Twang, it definitely took me to that sound, which I can only describe as thunderous. The three-way selector switch allows you with your amp settings to EQ and dial in that type of Iommi legendary tone. This is such a versatile pedal, for all styles. To relegate this to just one style is to seriously underrate the capabilities of this pedal.
