“Love Me Softly”
When Ms. Grey said, “love me softly” she must have been thinking about Ledge. That man is gentleness, patience, kindness, soft love personified. And Halo, my girl may he had some healing and recovery and rediscovery to do but she is a testament to not letting your pain win. I resonated so much with her. I saw my fight in hers. This one was raw, real and restorative. Fictional stories can be therapeutic experiences. 😊

I wholeheartedly love Ledge. I imagine I love Ledge because he reminds me of my husband. I also, adore Halo. I see so much of myself in this character. Grey writes her stories with such attention to detail. I’ll forever be a fan.
