Timing
We loved the theme of nature and small town food and charm. We just struggled with the timing, directions and winter conditions. The cheese shop closed at 5 not 6, you could say you’ll want more time at parc omega; the restaurant in Montebello was overbooked so we couldn’t get in, should have made a reservation, the national park presences was not good in the winter without the wetland and boardwalks accessible, we couldn’t get up the road at the black mountains, and the waterfall had a different name on all the signs (moulins) so was confusing. We still had fun but lots of logistical challenges to share just to help you improve experience!

Gift
This is an amazing gift to give someone. Its an exciting road trip that will take you places you never known existed. My daughter and husband cant wait to start exploring.

Loved our Backyard Bliss Day
Gorgeous drive and sights. Highly recommend doing this in the fall to appreciate the amazing colours of the landscape. Breathtaking. At one stop, 3 out of the 4 suggestions were closed. One permanently which we had been made aware of but the other two were just closed that day. Didn’t matter. It was such a full day, we didn’t even get to the last stop. We were driving from Ottawa and ran out of time. Should have left no later than 8 am to start the trip. We loved our day. Lots of exercise in beautiful places we had no idea existed. We felt so healthy and happy after our day.
