No rip fence?
I got everything out and no rip fence on a bandsaw is surprising. That is literally how I use a bandsaw for 90% of my use cases. So I'm trying to make one to clamp onto the plate. This has prevented me from using it so far. Sadly I don't know hope my jury rigged attempt will pan out. Hopefully this is something micromark is looking into.

Best out there!
I have one of these I bought almost 20 years ago now. There is nothing else out there that competes with these. My old one is still running strong, but its pretty beat up after all this time, some things are just a bit worn out so I just bought a new one and its just as good as they always were, with Japanese quality. I use these to cut steel parts I hand make for guitar pickup parts. A large steel cutting band saw can cost over a thousand dollars and more, they are just too huge and blades are very expensive. I get my own blades made to fit the Micromark saw and they are more affordable and work perfectly with this saw. My old had a diamond saw blade with water coolant, but I never really used that option. These are very affordable and for small work they last forever. I'll probably give my old one to a friend, but these are just little workhorses and can't be beat by any Chinese similar ones. BUY IT.

So far so good
I’ve got it all set up and it was easy. I have turned it on and it sounds just fine but I haven’t had a chance to cut anything yet. Hopefully I can update my review once I’ve made my first cut.
