The cute (majestic) Buffalo

The Billy the Bison pattern is so cute and user friendly. Being from the west (Texas), I love all the critters that are native to my home (except the Rattlesnakes)! It took me a few days to get started on Billy since finding a fabric that would give him the shaggy, wooly look he's known for. Sewing all the dark fabrics together (especially the points on the head tuft) was a little challenging and blinding (make sure you have good lighting for this one), but he was well worth it! The grandkids will be fighting over whose quilt this one will go on. I'll probably end up making a whole herd of them!
