Overkill of the best kind

The sub is extremely musical for it's size and shows that large does not automatically mean boomy. Timing and decay for this sub is unreasonably good and is a fantastic choice when trying to fill a larger space with music that is accurate an not only loud. Even with high end front speakers, I'm crossing them over to let the sub do what it does better than the speakers. Despite the enclosed design compared to the ported version, I am getting the pressure and air movement I'm looking for in a cinematic context as well. I initially intended to hold off on writing a review till I ordered a second identical unit and experience what it sounds like with more even coverage, but honestly...I have no reservations in endorsing this woofer even if a second will improve the experience markedly in my room. I was looking for a subwoofer that is equally good at faithful music reproduction as well as delivering the desired house shaking physical impact while watching movies. This was the sub I decided on and I have no regrets.

Awesome Speaker

SB 5000 R Evolution has exceeded my expectations. I have just begin trying to tweak the system for my personal listening pleasure. I love the performance and setup was easy, The app will take some learning also but I Love my new system.
