Live Silkworms

'LIVE' Silkworms

Have had the Silkworms on our weekly subscription for a short while. They are very delicate and are stored in the same clear tubs as locusts and roaches. On a good week we may have 3 or 4 alive but most weeks they are all dead upon arrival and very crispy. Our last delivery there was not even anything in the box to provide protection the the plastic boxes, which there is often paper. I have given the second star for the usual customer service response, they are usually very quick to reply to emails with pictures attached of the worms, which they provide a full refund no questions. Our last batch sent I contacted them with pictures, I didnt hear back and they have automatically taken them off our subscription, this was likely the right thing to do but with no contact we weren't aware (only when the amount taken had changed) and no conversation to see if we would like something different added instead. Unfortunately the Silkworms, I feel, are just too delicate to have sent via postal services, likely better to buy in store, where available.

Not exactly the best

Most of the silkworm where dead on arrival and not a lot in the box for the cost I love this site but after the last purchase I won’t be buying them again
