EFW Filter Wheels

Excellent addition to my rig for full automation before winter hits. Now I don't have to go out to swap filters during the middle of the session. Having this electronic filter wheel integrated with asi585mc air camera and the CAA. I am now having total control over the rig and I can plan the filter swaps and targets in the asiair app. Seamless integration and smooth motors (whisper quiet) one of the beast feature I enjoy after using the manual filter wheel. I am now ready for the night sky.

EFW so far is working great. Nice and quiet and rotates without any conflict. Only issue I have is the documentation. I have mostly ZWO back end and it’s not an unorthodox set up and lacked the detailing for reducer/Spacer/CCA/EFW/Camera explanation. Particularly, how to mount my 2600 Duo! It wasn’t in the procedure!!! I mounted the EFW using the supplied screws working from inside the EFW to secure the camera. Lots of confusing and misleading information out there even from ZWO regarding this. It was 100% unclear how to do it!

I love ZWO products, they are all excellent!
