Excellent!
I decided to try the Olla in my container garden as a way to combat the dry conditions the state I live in has. It seems to be doing alot better so far compared to previous years. My soil is definitely staying moist and my seeds are coming up well. I know it's not far into the season yet but im doing better than last year! This came well packed also to prevent breakage. I would recommend it

It depends...
I've tried many watering systems and thought I would give these a try. I bought them to use in a large/tall raised bed, and planted seedlings around each olla according to the radius suggested. The ollas definitely let water passively soak through - I bought mediums and they are 1/3 to 1/2 empty daily. However, I think my beds are just too large to rely on them. I've needed to supplement with a hose or watering can frequently. I think they would be PERFECT for other container gardening - I'm going to move them to my assorted houseplants soon.

Olla Olla hear hear
I’ve tried homemade with regular pots but these are sleeker and the tops much smaller than to cover a regular garden pot . The method of leaching water underneath the surface from the Olla’s permeable makeup is the smart way to water. I plan on getting the large ones also to broaden the circumference of the leached water that the roots take up. Nice to look at but they are to be buried in one’s garden.
