Harvester VX3 Bib

In all honesty these bibs are good for the price! Firstly what I like. I love the fact that these bibs are wind proof! Being wind proof is a necessity for me in a pair of bibs. I love the inclusion of a hand warmer pocket inside the chest of the bibs like a pair of waders. It’s especially handy when bow hunting for someone who hates shooting a bow with gloves on! The pocket layout is awesome too! I love the pockets in the thighs. Considering these bibs don’t have insulation they’ve pretty dang warm too! For colder hunts you do need to layer under them but that’s how I prefer to wear bibs. Which brings me to the negatives of these bibs. For starters I would have absolutely loved thigh zips. When trying to get these bibs on over insulated rubber boots it can be a bit of a pain. Thigh zips with a 2 way zipper so you could dump heat when walking would be awesome! And finally the thing that bugs me the most about these bibs is the dang Velcro on the shoulder straps. Really? Velcro on a hunting bib? It’s the one thing that guaranteed to make noise. I carry my bibs with me into the field to avoid getting too hot while walking and it’s impossible to put these bibs on quietly. Not only that but there is slight noise that comes from the Velcro if you move certain ways. All in all not a bad bib and if you put your bibs on at the truck and walk in with them on then the zippers and Velcro probably won’t matter to you. But if you have a hike in and want to put your bibs on at the tree I’d suggest looking at other options. Change the zippers and do away with the Velcro and these bibs get 5 stars all day long in my opinion.

5'5" 155lb male. Medium fits slighty loose. If you Don't plan to "layer" underneath, small would be a better fit. Only downside to bib is the lack of a front zipper for easy on/off but otherwise a qaulity made bib. Love the bottomland camo!

Wore them and a pair of shorts underneath in 40 degree weather with 10 mph wind this morning so far so good very great design ready to put them to the test this season
