Solar E-Clipse Race Edition

Solar E-Clipse 2.0 Race. Arrived today and took approximately 4 hours to assemble. The basic assembly video is very good and leads through the basic process very well. My bike arrived with the regen thumb brake hanging loose from the headlight assembly. No instructions about attaching this although looking at the pictures it was apparent it belonged on the right side bar between the throttle and the mode switch assembly. Not sure if the instructions are lacking or my bar wasn’t assembled completely from the factory. Once the basic assembly was complete the bike powered up as promised. It charged up in about an hour. Assembly of the street legal rear light assembly was less straightforward. The three short videos basically showed someone holding the various parts of the assembly but not attaching them in any way. My plug for the light assembly was round and looked nothing like the video. The only place I found to plug it, was to disconnect the “high, non street legal lights” plug and connect the legal lights to that plug. There were no other round plugs available under the seat. Further, the instruction video didn’t mention removing the seat which was the only way I found the round plugs for the lights, there was nothing useable under the side panel that the instructions said to remove. Other than these two assembly hiccups the bike arrived very well packed with all the paperwork (MSO & Bill of Sale) required to register it in the box. I haven’t set the sag yet, but out of the box it’s easy for this 70 yo with a 32” inseam to straddle the bike and flat foot it while seated. Looking forward to riding once it’s registered.
