Automatic Paste Pump - Chocolate

I have used this over a few years in my 3 A24's. The most recent pumps overnight leaked all over the ground, meaning that the bait was available for ground wandering rodents, until it washed away. I have the A24's in a wider garden setting and check every day. I have not seen these pumps leak before, so is there a fault? I will buy them again when I need to though.
