Poorly Designed and Dismissive Customer Service

We haven’t even had our mailbox for 30 days. The latch did not work properly and the key would not lock to hold the door. It scraped the paint off the inside catch because of the faulty spacing. We had to bend the inside latch to catch properly. To get your mail, you have to continuously hold up the flap up, so that you can turn the key while also holding the door to make sure the door doesn’t swing down too fast to hit the wall and chip paint(which it did the first time), and then retrieve and hold mail while holding up the lid again to close door and turn the key to lock! When asked if there was a lid-stay hinge kind of attachment we could purchase to hold the lid up we were told they don’t have anything like that and had nothing coming out in the future at this time. Customer service simply responds with a courteous “We don’t have anything to help you” kind of reply. There is no offer for replacement, exchange or refund, just requests for more photos and videos of issue.

Product is high quality. Locking mechanism does not work smoothly. The website says to register keys using QR code but it doesn’t send you a registration site just webpage were I can’t find a path to register.
