It's Okay

I bought this pack as a smaller, lighter EDC pack than my previous pack. I wanted something with some organisation inside. This is a good little pack for the money, but on loading it, a few small features that could improve it are not present. The hydration port at the top of the pack gapes open, which lets rain in and there are no drain holes to let the water out. I will be adding a cover shortly. The molle webbing on the sides is virtually useless in my opinion. The way it has been stitched only gives one run of usable molle on each side. This could easily be changed into 2 runs by altering where it is stitched to the pack. Allowing for the attachment of water bottle holders etc on the outside of the pack. In the outside pocket, the organisation mesh pockets are very tight to get a small a6 note book in and my concern is that, over time this will cause the stitching to fail. This could easily be widened by 5 mill each side to make it easier to put note pads in. The inclusion of a couple of key keeper type loops in this pocket would have been a good idea as well. The large mesh pocket in the main pouch gapes open when items are stored in it and items can fall out when the bag is opened up and laid out fully. I will be adding a zip to it. The webbing on the shoulder straps is quite short. I'm a 44” chest and it is almost full out, even without wearing a coat, which I will have to do in winter. Don't get me wrong, this is a good little pack, but with a few minor changes made in manufacturing, could be better, and I would be happy to pay a bit more for it, with these features on. In use, this is a very light, comfortable pack that sits well on my shoulders and is easy to carry for long periods. The only thing I can't change myself are the molle on the sides, which I don't want to have to unpick and re stitch. Today, I was putting a small sit mat back in the hydration pocket and the elasticated top came away from the material, not impressed and I'll have to repair it now.

I've been using this for walking with weight. It's held us great. Comfortable and can handle the weight. Seems very well made
