Rod Caddy

Good product, sturdy and lightweight. The bottom section should be larger, as not all fishing rods fit. Some rods have thinner handles, while others have thicker ones. The top section should have a U-shaped cutout to allow space for the rod guide, which is currently squeezed into the covered area. I think this could break the guide in the long run.

The caddy looks good and on different rods I bet it’d be exactly what I wanted. However on two rods I can’t get them to fit because of where the guides are located. To return them I’m out the initial shipping, no problem, but now I also have to ship them back to Canada for a refund and also out that shipping.

Great idea to protect the rods during travel, but none of the 3 caddy sets fitted my 3 rods. The width of the caddy mouth 1 inch too narrow on all 3 to cover both ends of the rods when broken down. Suggest you widen the mouth of each caddy to fit both section together. The bottom sections just below the reel attaching area especially need at least an inch or more to be able to fit the 2 rod sections. I wish to return the order I received, am still interested in ordering caddies that are redesigned wider. P. Randall
