Sonos Sub Mini

Great sub.

It is my first subwoofer. When you set it up with trueplay it almost becomes imperceptibly quiet as Sonos tries to prevent boominess and reverb. The subwoofer can be felt and heard at volume above 40%. It sounds very clean and tight after trueplay tuning. A change in the EQ of +8 to the bass and increasing sub audio volume by +1 makes the subwoofer come on much sooner, it fills and complements the music much more noticeably even at lower volumes and it never sounds distorted or loose. I don’t dare turn it up louder than 60% volume but it is definitely a very capable unit. Without trueplay the sub woofer placed in the corner (as per Sonos suggestion) sounds very boomy, loud and inelegant but this is not because it’s a bad sub it’s just the physics of how sound travels, bounces and the acoustic property of my room. Ceiling speaker world has been an excellent business to deal with as well. Thank you Tom and Ceiling speaker world!
