This little strap has been excellent as an extra layer of security for my puppy while she grows. I clip it to her harness and the leash, or to her collar and gentle leader - since her proportions are still a bit uneven (and she's half scenthound) I feel better knowing she's still connected even if one piece of gear was to fail.
