Notes Planner Cover

NOTES planner cover-clear or not?

I love the planner cover, but have one little thing. Based on other reviews and even YouTube videos from planner content creators, I bought this cover based on it being clear. When I received, I was able to peel the plastic film off of one side, which continued to leave my cover to look scratched and foggy(for lack of better word). I have tried and tried to find the starting point for the film cover on the other side but can't find. So I now believe the covers are no longer clear. PLEASE HELP!
