Black Pine Tar

Easy to mix with the linseed oil, it applied easily and dried as advertised.

We’ve used the black pine tar on our raw pine shiplap siding for much of our cottage. As per recommendations we used a 50/50 mixture of raw linseed oil with the black pine tar, heated to 140 degrees. The results have been great both aesthetically as well as from a protection point of view. After 3 years there is no evidence of any wear or degradation in the pine tar coating! Great product!!

Nice product. Did a 50/50 mixture on pine. All 6 slides of boards were sealed. This is one coat. Will apply another coat this coming spring to try and get a darker color. I chose the black stain additive.
