My family thought it was store bought!
This table lives up “magazine worthy furniture”. My friends and family thought it was bought from the store. Their responses were “Gorgeous!! Absolutely stunning!!” “I’m so impressed!!” and “that TABLE IS GORGEOUS and looks SO professional!!!” The plans are easy to follow, and you can build it with as little as a miter saw, a drill, and some clamps as equipment. My first project in 6 years, and these plans made it easy and fun!

Turned out so Great!
I used the cheapest wood imaginable, so I did have to paint, rather than stain it, but it is cute, and solid as a rock, even without nails or screws.. Exactly what I needed for the space.

Glue up not easy!
Plans were clear. Once there was glue on the wood, it was very difficult to keep the boards well aligned. The glue is very slippery. Also, when it came time to connect the top and bottom via the longer boards, the fit was too tight (because I clamped the top and bottom well) for the "new" boards to fit into the "dadoes" I ended up omitting the shorter boards and planing the longer boards to give just enough room for them to be inserted as specified together with some glue. Finally, there were no instructions given for how best to assure the top or bottom and side attached at a 90 degree angle. Again, with slippery glue, there's a lot going on at once here!
