Because spring onions don’t form bulbs, they can be sown at almost any time of the year. They form long, pale stems and fresh leaves that are wonderful in salads and stir fries. As perennials, they will form offsets over time, forming a bunch of stems and foliage. They are extremely pest and disease resistant.
