Stilo ST5 fitting by Rockstar Ron
I spoke to Ron last week at a Road Atlanta Chin event about fitting a Stilo ST5 that was “thrown in” with a recent purchase of an E36 M3. Ron explained good helmet fit, showed me how to make adjustments to the “hard” helmet liner to accommodate different balaclavas, hair gel and unanticipated changes in skull shape. Okay, he didn’t mention those last two, but it sounds like him, right?? :-)
The fit is fantastic and my experiences with Ron are always great! I can buy my gear from anywhere, but Ron is the #1 reason I come to Discovery, instead of other providers, and regularly send my students, without any reservations, to him for gloves, helmets, HANS devices, etc. knowing they will get the most appropriate, properly fitted gear for their needs.
Recent purchases include a Cool Suit Pro setup, several Nomex pieces, a Garmin Catalyst (extra cams, hard bracket, power supplies), OMP EVO FX gloves, Sparco X-Light+ shoes, among other items. His fitting is why my new firesuit and ST5 Carbon will come from you when my SA2015 helmet expires.
