Loved the shoe, sizing is off

The sizing is off on the shoe which make me nervous to order any shoes from you. I wear a US size 8 but was not sure about buying a 38 since it said 7.5 -8. So, I measured my foot and and based on the measurements ordered a 39 which is supposed to convert to a US 8.5. The shoe was still to small as my toes touched the front of the shoes when I walked. I really love you shoes but worry about the fit is holding me back from ordering
