Another winner from Beautiful Noise
When the Sun Explodes is one of my favorite in the "dirty reverb" genre of pedals, and the Exploder is another really fun entry to their lineup. The main draw of the pedal for me is the ability to blend in an envelope-controlled white noise generator that creates some interesting textures. Like other Beautiful Noise pedals, this pedal is not for getting getting a vintage OD/distortion sound--this is for shoe-gazey wall-of-sound textures. If that's what you're in to, make sure to check this one out!

Oh It Explodes
This pedal was everything I had hoped. The shipping was fast. I even put the wrong shipping address and when I sent the correction email they responded in minutes.

A Really Good Pedal
I love Beautiful Noise pedals. Their WTSE pedal is one of my favorites, but it's big. Was hoping to use the Exploder in tandem with another of my reverb pedals to get a similar sound. But this doesn't scratch that same itch. The overall distortion, drive, fuzz tone is just killer. So good. But the white noise doesn't seem super useful or useable I found. Wish they had made the WTSE minus the boost and feedback in smaller enclosure.
