Sheets look good -- pillow cases way too long

The pillowcases are way too big---39 inches long vs. 27 inches for my current pillowcases, which fit my 60-inch-wide queen-sized bed. What can you do about this? I'd prefer to use your pillowcases since they match the sheets, but I need them to be much shorter,

The sheets were extra big and not very soft, hoping they get softer with every wash.
