Disappointed

This is the first Leatherman I’ve been disappointed with. I’ve been using Leathermans for 30+ years on a daily basis. It’s part of my livelihood at work. This one just does not cut the cake. It’s awkward to open out my natural the clothes. Go back to your original wave that was a classic. That was a piece of artwork that was a masterpiece.

Recent gift purchase

This is a gift for a guy who thought he had everything. We were recently on a project in Montana. This fellow noticed a couple of us were using them for all sorts of things and started asking about them. Of course the quality is always there and the price point was agreeable. The only thing I did not like, I bought a belt carrier for it as it was labeled “people usually pair this item”. I expected the normal leather belt pouch, and you can almost put a cell phone in this thing.

A knife without a sheath

I have given a rebar to all the young men in our family over the years. Celebrate graduation, receive a rebar and a check for the accomplishment. It has been going on for years. I was more than a little miffed the last time when I purchased one, it no longer comes with a sheath. I called to complain and was given the answer, the sheath was eliminated so as to afford more options like the clip instead. The price went up, the sheath went away, and somehow I am supposed to be thankful that I have more options. Very disappointing. It felt like giving 1/2 a present. I still like the knife, but I likely won't be buying anymore. I don't like companies explaining how I should be happy to pay more when I am in fact getting less.
