Premature Cutter Damage Under Normal Use
I mainly used the pliers for the wire cutter. The wire was relatively thin but quite hard, which is still within normal use—especially in an EOD work environment. After only about 5–6 cuts, I noticed visible chipping on the cutting edge, which is unexpected for a tool designed for durability. Also, to clarify, the tool was used to puncture or make a hole for a blasting cap in C4. However, the spike designed for that purpose is slightly oversized, which results in a hole that is a bit larger than the blasting cap itself. Overall, the quality does not seem to match older products. The durability appears to have declined, and I expected the cutter to last significantly longer under these conditions.
