I was a little mixed on the Ethiopian single origin at first, but it's grown on me quite a bit. It's got the smokiness and long smooth aftertaste that I look for in Sumatran beans, but it's also got a faint sweetness and almost "starchiness" (for lack of a better term) which is probably where they got the 'pie crust' taste note from. I hope that in the future we can get this roast as a permanent (or at least once-in-a-while) choice!

Coffee is amazing! Buuut
The shipping is wild. The huge discounts if you can get them basically pay for shipping so that's nice.
But the coffe itself has been nothing but fantastic so far and my partner is really looking forward to each release!

Smooth and Bold
What a lovely new roast. Perfectly roasted, without being too dark, tangy and a hint of sweet with a nice finish of tartness from the cherry. A winner in my book for the first of the new Roaster's Choice - it was excellent as a cold brew.
