I really liked this fun twist on a vampire romance told from the sibling's point of view! It was very fun and I gobbled the whole released series in a few days. I could tell it wasn't quite as polished as Elizabeth's later books, but I think "early Elisabeth Wheatley" is still better than many "experienced other author" lol. I was quite devasted to find out the series was not finished, but I found a video from 2024 with Elisabeth saying she still intended to finish the series at some point (and with some possible revisions to the rest of the series) and so I am content to wait.

I really enjoyed the story. However, the books just FEEL too short. So I need to save up to purchase the rest of the series. Lol

Solid 1st book. Action was exciting and moved. Characters were interesting. I was immediately invested in our heroine.
