Chase Bundle

Dogs enjoy it but catch it, I think expanding the layout will help solve that.

Very easy to set up and use! The video tutorials made it very easy. Safe to say our dog is obsessed with his chase! Easy and safe way for him to get his exercise. We did notice that in outdoor mode it was easy for him to scrape his paws on the string- luckily the chase unit has different modes with slower speeds that alleviate that issue.

I, the human, love this system (glad I got the plug in type, my yard is a postage stamp), for the flexibility of setup and simplicity of use. The human learning curve has been short. Smokey, the dog, also quite enjoys his new game, However. Smokey is a rescue Blue Heeler from the rural south and it is obvious that he spent long stretches of time feeding himself by hunting. His nickname is Murder Dog, and that’s a warning, not a joke. The upshot is that my yard is not large enough for Smokey to play with his new game without injuring himself or disabling his toy—NOT THE TOY’S FAULT!!!!!!!—and that I the human must continue to seek ways for Smokey to safely play with this great toy but in a configuration that protects both the dog and the equipment. I am considering an aerial arrangement of some sort. That said, the look of pure predatory pleasure on Smokey’s face every time he catches the flag and gives it a death shake is enough to keep me setting the system up and trying to make it work for both of us.
