Great fit

Ok. Not what I was hoping for though.
I saw the ads for these briefs and thought they looked attractive and they sounded well made. I bought one pair of briefs as a trial.
The first thing I would say is that they run small. I am a 33 waist and usually a medium/large depending on the brand. I bought a size large to be on the safe side. I tried them on and they are hilariously tight. Extra large might fit. Might not.
The second thing is that the cut is more aggressively “bikini” looking than they appeared in the photos. Fairly high rise on the hips. Might be fine or even desirable for some but not my thing.
I might try a pair of their boxer briefs, but at the end of the day there was nothing that made them stand out over the standard Uniqlo underwear I buy for $6/pair, which is comfortable, looks great, can be machine washed and dried at any temp (unlike Onishi) and lasts for years.
