I highly suggest the preassembled option. It was easy for my 14 yr old and 11 yr old to get everything sorted and start putting it together. I didn't even get a chance to put much of it together because they were having so much fun assembling the Dreambox.

Baby, where have you been? I was storing yarn inside drawers, on wall-mounted shelves, and on a piano. Yes, the classic yarn storage solution, a piano. I had nowhere in the house to plan a project. Nowhere to seam garments. My yarn storage space was not my maker space, that was on the couch (and around the couch, and on the coffee table…) Now, my yarn (at least a large portion of it) is organized and visible. I have somewhere to sit and stitch, a well-lit place where I can see stitches in order to seam easily…I could go on. I am THRILLED with my DreamBox. Being able to see the yarn I have and the projects I have planned inspires me to get stitching. Perusing my existing stash gets my creative mind churning without having to buy more yarn 😉

After retiring, packing everything up, putting some in storage, and moving to Texas, I finally got all my sewing "stuff" in one place. But it was all in moving boxes, plastic tubs, and plastic bags. Not any more! I am still in the process of getting set up (I'm going to make a custom spool & bobbin holder that will fit perfectly in a large tot. Actually, I need to make two.) And I'm still trying to figure out my new embroidery machine, so I haven't made anything yet. But I'm very happy that my best sewing machine, my serger, and the embroidery machine all fit in my DreamBox! And my wife is bugging me for the new PJs I promised here, so I have to get everything set up soon!
