Barely green!

Only 4 and not 5 because I forgot how much more saturated product colors can look on screen vs in person. Thought I was purchasing an earthy olive/army green shoe - in person the "sage/gum" is very light, almost gray, and way more neutral than expected. Fit, construction, comfort are all 5 stars.

Quality trotters

A very well-made and original take on the Chelsea boot, with a tough build. The sizing instructions on how to measure assured the right fit, and it’s advisable to size down. The only glaringly obvious mistake within the construction and I’m not sure how it was missed is the reflective top loop, which is sewn in a position that is thoroughly uncomfortable, digging aggressively into the top of the foot. This demands that the boot be broken in gradually, as others have rightfully pointed out. I’d be more irritated if I had purchased them at full price, but at the current price, they still remain a really high-quality, stylish boot that forgives a somewhat clumsy oversight in ergonomics. I’ll likely pick up the black pair too and weather the breaking-in period again.
