I have had the original set for probably 20 years. There is no sign of wear on the needles or cords. Over the years I have purchased additional cords as needed. Recently bought the shorter tip set for more flexibility with tight projects. So happy with the purchase. I love the smaller plastic pouch they come in. Space saving and now I always carry it in my knitting bag. A lot of bang for the buck.
