My fault, my dog chewed on the first leash I got a few months ago, but despite the expense (which is considerable for a leash) I had to get another as I had already fallen in love with it. The latch for the collar is truly a one handed operation. The magnetic closure on the handle not quite so easy to operate, but I have confidence in it. Feels like a very reliable leash without being heavy or stiff and the lining for the handle makes it very comfortable to use. I have already used it in several lengths and it is easily adjustable. I scored a 4/5 on durability as I would have loved for my dog to have not chewed it, but in defense of the leash, she wasn't able to chew all the way through despite her best effort.

Great for hiking
We've been using this leash for a couple of months now and we love it. We use it for daily walks and when we go hiking. Being able to be hands free is so nice, especially when navigating hikes with rocks. It's easy to adjust and the clip for the lead is sturdy and isn't going anywhere (which is so reassuring after the clip our previous leash somehow disengaged. Luckily the dog didn't go far).
