A farmer’s recipe
I had never tried harissa before, but I was curious because it was described as a traditional farmer’s treat. My family immigrated to the U.S. three generations ago as dairy farmers, so that connection made me especially interested in trying it. The dish itself was sweet and grainy.

Do not recommend
I specifically order from this place thinking I will be getting an authentic harissa that I remember in my childhood. I was really disappointed. It was below average. It has nothing to do with harissa , the smell and taste were way off. None of the family wanted to eat. I complained and asked for a refund. No body responded and I threw $80 in the trash
