I'm really surprised that others have not posted more negative reviews. I made the mistake of buying three of these (after researching and waiting). I'd like a refund but earrings aren't refundable. I do not understand why the earrings are designed backwards. Unlike typical earrings, the front part is weirdly short and you're supposed to insert the earring through the back. I struggled with this, irritating my ears for about 30 minutes and gave up. Do not buy this product. It's very likely to be a waste of your money. Unusable. If you buy for lower ear lobes, please buy the 8mm.
