Revolution Globe

Good and Bad (and very slightly deceptive)

We just bought this globe. We chose it specifically because it can be rotated fully in two directions. That is good. The globes this one was created to look like could also rotate the inclination. This one does not. I was saddened to see that the actual framework is made of plastic (and it doesn't appear to be terribly high quality plastic...not sure just how long that's going to last). They went to some trouble to make it LOOK like metal, but it is not. The globe map itself is good, with a good assembly of information. Soo...Three stars.

Really pretty globe

A terrific centerpiece. It’s slightly smaller than you may think; good or bad. A nice addition would be an optional magnifying glass with a light. Love the two axis it spins on. They have three different color of this style of globe I think. The wood base looks good with this color.

Lovely globe

The screws are not on tightly, & I'm having trouble getting a wrench & screwdriver in position around the meridian to tighten them. Otherwise, beautiful product.
