Edges Dry Up Under Makeup

Maybe I have drier skin than the average person, but the website didn’t mention that being a concern with use. The several times I tried this product, there’s a shine to it after it dries around a spot. That means it’s hard to use by itself as it stand out from your skin. When I tried to cover it with my foundation or concealer, it looked like wrinkly skin and you can see the edges of the spot treatment. That only gets worse over time. This didn’t work as advertised. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for a product to go under makeup.

Mixed feelings

You have to apply just the right amount and even then it peels away on its own or very easily. Do not wear this under makeup, it will peel and you won’t know it, then you run to the bathroom to fix it and the only thing you can do is peel it all off … and then you have a makeup free pimple. If you just wearing it at home, it’s just fine for a little protection.

Did not work

I tried this product according to direction four separate times. It kept peeling under makeup no matter how I applied with a sponge barely over it, a finger pat, a elf sponge (the new one that doesn't use water) and a brush and it peeled every time. I will use this without makeup on but otherwise it defeats the purpose because its not wearing under makeup well which is why I bought it. I let it dry at least 5 minutes or more and then made sure the layer was thin. It needs work on the formula or better instructions for under makeup. (My foundation was liquid, and I even tried powder and cream concealer separately with my 4 attempts I did not layer any products. )
