The Stirling Durrant Black nails the tactical aesthetic. In normal daylight, the stealthy dark-out finish looks sharp and low-profile on the wrist. Fast reading isn't always effortless, and you often have to rotate your wrist to catch the light. Larger hands with the minute hand extending out to the minute markers would make bezel timing much faster. Additionally, rather than sitting flat against the side of the dial, canting the minute ticks at a 45-degree angle and making them slightly longer would dramatically improve off-axis legibility from any viewing angle or just having the ticks sit flat on the dial. While the automatic movement is great, a solar-quartz or standard quartz variant would make this an unbeatable grab-and-go field watch with superior shock resistance and no need to reset the time after a few days off the wrist. The watch is tough, a quartz option down the road could easily be an ultimate primary for field duty.

Have to say that this looks even better in person. I would highly recommend this watch. The quality is amazing and it is so comfortable.
A real quality bit of kit.
