Sidekick V2

A pleasant surprise!

This was a gift for my first purchase of a mini field journal and I think I would've bought it anyway. What a great wallet. I always have a pen and pad on me now. Very practical design. A wallet I actually like.

Surprisingly Versatile

I got the Sidekick V2 as an inclusion to my order of a Pocket Jornal and a Mini Field Journal. Its surprisingly good for both a wallet and a notebook holder. I tried the A7 sized Lochby notebooks (not included) and was less than impressed with the page area covered by the notebook. But the Midori A7 notebooks with dot grid paper is much better if you want to use this for writing notes and thoughts that pop up. It comfortably holds cards, cash and my Writech Space Up pen For the price and quality the Sidekick V2 is hard to beat!

Nice little bag, BUT…

Nice little bag but too small. The bag is attractive and very convenient, but is limited in actual use. It can carry a notebook, a (small) pen or pencil, some cards, and my phone . But so can my pocket. It would be nice if the body expanded out a bit rather than just being a sleeve, to carry a bulkier item, and another inch or so deep would make it much more useful. I’ve gone back to carrying an old army bag.
