This is a premium, limited-edition coffee with a unique flavor profile from the rum barrel aging process. While it is a more expensive batch, I highly recommend using it for specialty drinks like a Caffè leccese or Caribbean Nights Espresso, where the added complexity really stands out. It also makes a great warm coffee, but for everyday brewing, Kauai Coffee offers other options that provide better value. This is a coffee to enjoy when you want something special and different.

I’ve been a member of the monthly club for two years now. I visited the plantation last October and discovered this coffee that had been cured in rum barrels. Well why not try it? So I purchased two. One for me, another for family members to share. Once I tried this coffee I was hooked on its rich flavor, its rich aroma, and lasting taste of the tropics with a hint of rum that hits in those back cheek areas that make you want more. It’s not cheap… just remember you only go around once in life so reach out and enjoy for yourself. It’s worth every penny!
