Really wish I could give it 5 stars, but NO HYDRATION COMPATIBILITY
Haven't toured with this backpack yet; but I did extensive research and in my hands on my back; this is exactly what I was looking for in a ski bag. Traditional back panel. A-Frame preference; helmet carry; generous storage. HOWEVER, in my research I overlooked hydration compatibility; and I feel like that should be a given for touring bags these days. We go uphill, we need to hydrate, and the best bags are theoretically designed to give you access to your essentials without having to do too much work or take the bag off. I get that for this bag, the unique backpanel opening would probably have to be revised; but common. Easy hydration compatibility is essential; but with a little cutting and sewing; I've found a solution. Other than my hydration pet peeve, I'm very excited by everything else on this bag. It is light and simple in a perfect way. Can't wait to get it out on snow.
