Exquisitely beautiful and masterfully created. This fountain pen is perhaps one of the finest pens in my collection. Even with the 800 pound price tag (with tax) it still competes with the likes of Nakaya and Namiki. In fact I maybe as bold to say that I prefer this to my Yukari herb decoration!

Ingenuity meets aesthetically pleasing design

When I spoke to Yurie about this fountain pen I did have my doubts whether or not this would be a usable pen in regards to posting the cap on the barrel. However, much to my delight this pen posts well and it doesn’t affect the surface. I know some people may be a little bit dubious about this, however, in my experience of owning this pen it has proven to be an absolute godsend. I love that this pen is so transformative, and pleasant to write with. That being said, I would like to see some options in the future to have custom grinds as an option. As for the design of this fountain pen, I must say it is absolutely incredible, the application of lacquer with the depiction of cherry blossoms is just beautiful.
