The boots look just like the photos except the base of the shoe looks like wood when in reality its just rubber painted to look like it. I had trouble choosing either regular or wide calf as I didnt want too loose of a fit but the regular models were quite skinny and werent a great reference. The regular calf ended up being just too tight and hard to zip up. I returned instead of exchanged because I believe the wide calf style will be too loose for me. There was also dried glue on the elastic panel and small marks of paint or something. The way they packaged it also caused some damage on the front seam.
