ModMic Wireless - Renewed

Really good quality microphone. Small but rather strong magnet to hold it in place and easy to set up. Did ended up with used one but it still works pretty well. Definitely a recommended purchase.

This refurbished product came dirty, with gunk still in the buttons, etc. but aside from that the mic quality is poor, and the plastic and construction quality feels like it’s from the early 2000s and has aged 20 years. The plastic mount was very worn (refurbished) but you can visibly see how soft the plastic is. The connection quality drops frequently, even with the receiver plugged in on top of my desk 2 ft away from my face. This is the second modmic I’ve purchased, after the first one died after a few months of use. I overall do not like the design or functionality. It could also use an auto power off feature if it’s not in use. It’s a neat idea that could be packaged a lot lot better. But, I definitely would not buy again. Especially at this price point, the quality should be much higher

For the price and for what it’s capable of, this is an absolutely amazing microphone that has extremely clear audio perfect to replace my vr mic since it’s wireless. Extremely easy to use and haven’t had any problems with it since day one. Yes it feels cheap but the audio doesn’t sound anywhere near cheap.
