Delicious and beautiful cake

Neither my husband nor daughter can have any dairy--milk, cream, butter, sour cream, yogurt--so finding tasty baked goods outside of what I bake for them can be a significant challenge. Enter The Chocolate Maven. We ordered a custom vegan coconut cream cake for the daughter's birthday and not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! We're really looking forward to trying more of The Chocolate Maven's treats, and appreciate a bakery that is dedicated to serving the varied needs of its customers.

The taste of the cake and icing was great...

We were excited to order the vegan version and have purchased a few vegan cakes in the past (non-dairy diet). The flavor of the cake was really great, although the cake itself was dense and dry.
