The Mission Workshop Vandal is an impressive travel backpack! Its cavernous main compartment and three long, deep pockets easily organize clothing, undergarments, damp items, toiletries, camera gear, a tripod, and even my Gravel Travel blanket.
It expands to an incredible 65 liters but compresses when you need a smaller profile. With smart packing and a little laundry, it can comfortably hold up to 3½ weeks of clothing. It’s weatherproof, versatile, and perfect for international travel—just don’t overfill it if you’re using it as a carry-on.
My Nomatic 45L served me well during a two-week European trip, but the Vandal offers even more space and unique storage possibilities. I’ll definitely be taking it on my next trip from the United States to Europe!
